CHARACTERISTICS
Colored mortar based on special lime.
APPLICATIONS:
Fine decorative layer on Farecor Cal Base.
Special for restoration of historical or ancient work; free of Portland cement and with high breathability.
Ideal for traditional decorative finishes in new construction.
Waterproof in mass.
Indoors and outdoors.Manual application or with a projection machine.
SUPPORTS:
Plaster of Farecor Cal Base or others of old lime plaster.
Non-waterproofed cementitious plasters.Brick masonry, ceramic block and concrete block.
COMPOSITION:
Aerial lime, hydraulic lime, pozzolans, selected limestone aggregates, organic additives and natural pigments.
PREPARATION OF THE MIXTURE:
Mix the powder product with the indicated amount of water.
Knead until fully homogenized (without lumps), with a mortar mixer at low revolutions.
Yield approx. for 1mm thick 1.4 Kg / m²
PRODUCT APPLICATION:
Spread the mortar with a stainless steel trowel clean and in good condition, in a compact, uniform and uneven manner until a continuous layer of between 5 and 10 mm is achieved.
It may be necessary to apply a second layer, so the final thickness will depend on the type of decorative finish you want to make.
Make the desired decorative finish.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
Do not apply in conditions of strong winds, rain or frost.
Once kneaded do not add additional water.
Do not apply on plaster, old paint or easily separable supports, nor on superficially waterproofed substrates.
It is recommended to always apply on a previous base of Farecor Cal Base.
Do not exceed 10 mm thick per layer.
In joints between supports of different nature, use fiberglass mesh reinforcement.
In case of high temperatures or strong winds, moisten with water spray for the next 24 hours.
